Detroit and Grosse Pointe High Schools join forces with Chamber Music Detroit, Aeolus Quartet, and composer Alexandra T. Bryant

BUILDING BRIDGES THROUGH MUSIC

The project Building Bridges Through Music is aimed at building bridges between young people in the city and in the suburbs through a shared love of music. The two high schools participating in this project (Cass Technical High School and Grosse Pointe South High School) will enhance their musicianship and gain greater insight into the life and work of professional musicians by working with the composer, Alexandra T. Bryant, and the Aeolus Quartet. The collaboration will culminate this year with the premiere of the commissioned new work of composer Alexandra T. Bryant, performed by the two local high schools along with the Aeolus Quartet.
